
- 250g chick peas, soaked overnight
- 60g Tashi (tahini paste) – (sesame seed paste)
- 2 lemons, juice of
- 3-4 cloves of garlic, minced
- salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Rinse and dry the chick peas, then put them in a
blender and puree then.
Add warm water to the
tahini paste, enough to make it fliud but not runny. Pour it in
with the chick peas, lemon juice and olive oil, mixing all the
time.
Add garlic and salt to taste
Keep it in the fridge and just before serving
sprinkle on a little parsley.
