Horiatiki Salada - Village salad Print E-mail


  • 4 ripe tomatoes , cut in large chunks
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped in chunks
  • 1 coss lettuce, roughly cut
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced in rings
  • 1 green pepper, cut in cubes
  • 2-3 tablespoons wine vinegar
  • 4-6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 100g black olives
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • salt to taste
  • 150g Fetta cheese, cut in cubes
  • 1/2tsp oregano


    Wash all the vegetables well.

    Add all the ingredients except the Fetta cheese and the oregano into a large bowl and mix them well.

    Just before serving transfer to a salad bowl and add the fetta cubes and sprinkle with oregano.
